Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads, hundreds of tiny threads, which sew people together through the years.

Almost 2 years ago, this beautiful couple came into my life along with their two sons and one more on the way.

I grew to know them better with each & every time we spent together… for their maternity & newborn portraits sessions.

They’re very down to earth.
Their sons are absolutely crazy over the art of Lion Dancing, and they’re very blessed to have very dedicated parents who would bring them around town following their favorite lion dance team during their performance period!
They are also very creative, and have an exquisite taste for all things unique & special. I fell in-love with the way they have designed their home’s interior, and daddy is a very passionate plant lover, collecting special tropical plants to nurture & grow at their lovely home.

The little boys are filled with such big energies, and the parents have this equally huge level of patience & understanding in caring for them and guiding them as they grow. They love all things outdoor, getting down & dirty, back to basics in their parenting approach. From climbing hills & mountains, to exploring the wetlands and green nature our country can provide, I truly admire their dedication and outlook as a family together.

When they approached me with an idea to plan their 10th wedding anniversary celebration, I didn’t hesitate at all to help making this memorable milestone a keepsake for them. After arrangements are made to have their photo session done at APW Bangsar, we headed over there early in the morning to take advantage of the empty place before the breakfast crowds start coming into the place.

Mummy Yi Jia & Daddy Mun Keong came looking all dashing and calm, despite having one of their little son’s meltdown, and another having just had a bad case of eczema… We took our time roaming the premise area, taking shots after shots with & without the children (for the little ones will always need breaks in between to just play & release their energies :D). And boy oh boy did we have so many beautiful shots captured that day!

The weather & sun was very kind to us, and the kids managed to work with us as well as they could be at their ages. 😉 We finally ended the session with a nice breakfast at Breakfast Thieves before heading home.

Here’s wishing this family many many more beautiful years together, making memories & growing up as wonderful people that inspires others to be great people too if not better. 😀
